CitySwitch was developed for companies that literally want to be close to their customers, but do not want to set up their own logistics centre. Typical for every hub is the convenient location in an easily accessible location on the outskirts of the city, or on an access road. With the electric charging infrastructure, CitySwitch makes it possible to have inner city transport with emissionfree vehicles or cargo bikes. CitySwitch in numbers

CitySwitch locations are mainly situated around the G40, the 40 largest municipalities in the Netherlands. The aim is to have a nationwide network of logistics hubs operational by 2025. Each location is at least 1.2 hectares in size; the buildings consist of 2 to 4 connected CitySwitch units.

Iedere locatie is voorzien van een dak- of buitenterras, een aangename plek om even te ontspannen. What makes CitySwitch sustainable?

The CitySwitch concept was developed based on a circular, nontoxic philosophy. During construction, the reusability of materials is taken into consideration and the energy supply is sustainable, for example through gasless heating and solar panels on the roof. In addition, the environment literally turns green, both on the facade, on the (roof) terrace and in the warehouse. The pavement in the parking zone is water permeable. This prevents flooding and is good for the groundwater. In a nutshell: CitySwitch is sustainable from foundation to roof.
